Son of a biscuit. Bendis left Marvel. I am sure they backed up the damn Brinks truck up to his house. I don't blame him for taking the money and leaving. I look at this two ways.

1. Bendis leaving is good necause sometimes a change of scenery is a good thing. He pcould also write some great Batman and Superman stories. (And Superman needs a lot of work.) Leaving Marvel frees them from Bendis writing so much, and free up other writers to do new work. Plus Bendis is very verbose, and his writing style isn't always best for certain characters or stories. (Civil War II.) Which means he is not auto assigned to big cross overs that he isn't suited to write. Basically, he is DC's problem now.

2. Bendis leaving is bad because he writes so much that other writers get to stay longer on books they care about, and can develop story arcs and characters. It's bad because his Spider-Man work is so good, and Spider-Man is their most important character. Sales could dip and Dan Slott now has to pull more Spider-Man weight than ever before. It is also bad because he is a big name, and helped create two imporyant characters, Jessica Jones and Miles Morales.

I guess we shall see how this shakes out.

My wife asked me today if I was excited about walking and getting my prototype robot leg. I said that I was not because something bad is probably going to happen to balance the good with the bad.

The bad turns out my my mom is now on a breathing tube in ICU. She has congestive heart failure. Just taking it all in stride. However, she understands why I try to not get too excited about too much of anything.

Scarlett mentioned that "This is how empires fall." She was referencing the huge sexual harassment scandals brewing in Hollywood right now. From Kevin Spacey, Andy Dick, and now Dustin Hoffman and Brett Ratner.

It's finally time for all these scumbags to be put in their place, and the old boy's Hollywood Club lifestyle to go away, or at least get reduced into isolated instances.

I am also not going to jump the gun too quick because some of these claims might not be real. There are all types of lowlife jerks out there lying to get famous or make a quick buck on the names of the more famous. So, we do have to take all of this with a bit of caution before grabbing our pitchforks and screaming from our soap boxes. Nevertheless, hopefully change is the end result, and this can begin to put an end to casting couches, and the sexual favors system.

Realistically those things probably will never change, but if more people step forward maybe some good can come from all of this.

I've been sick and very busy for the last few days. I spent Saturday with my long lost father, who is probably insane from the years of drug and alcohol abuse. He's not as sober as he thinks. He polished off a bottle of wine in about half an hour, and passed out in my chair with my cat on top of him. At least he doesn't smoke crack any longer; so a win for everyone I guess.

As for the sick part, I'm having severe allergies and sinus headaches. It's getting better, but up until 3 hours ago I felt like grim death. I took some advill and passed out, and I woke up feeling a lot better. However, my headache is coming back as I type this.

In great news my leg is all healed up, and I got cast for my robot leg this afternoon. It will be ready next week, and I can start rehab and walking again. No more wheelchair, well more wheelchair for a while, but I should be walking in a few months. Eventually I will be back to normal. I would be more excited, but i feel terrible so... back to bed.

People scream about the PC Master Race, but a game like PUBG is the perfect traget for hackers, cheats, and the villainy of the scum riddled Internet.

Granted the game is "Technically" in beta or early access, so it's not a finished product. I don't think it ever will be a completely finished game. That's just my opinion.

Truth is the developers need to fix the lag, glitches, match making, exploits, the loot system, and rhe graphics before adding additional content. Because it doesn't matter how strong your walls are if the foundation is a mess.

In other wrestling news, Roman the Reigns, Bo Dallas, and Bray Wyatt all have some vital infection, and will not wrestle tomorrow at TLC. The virus appears to be mumps or meningitis. Both options stink, but the latter is clearly the worse of the two options.

Since they won't wrestle old, busted ass, janky necked Kurt Angle is going to take Roman's place in the match against Kane and the Misfits. Bray Wyatt is being replaced by AJ Styles, which is a huge upgrade in my opinion, in his match against Finn Balor. And no one cares about Bo Dallas so he is not being replaced.

In small but interesting wrestling news.

Neville quit. Left Raw and asked for his release. My wife loves him because she thinks he could play Link in a live action Legend of Zelda movie. "He doesn't even need a prosthetic for his ears." She yells.

Anyway, he left mainly because Enzo is a Piece of trash, and he had to drop the belt to that idiot. However, Neville had the cruiserweight belt for the better part of a year. Now he's salty after not having the belt for less than a month? I know Enzo is a pill, and I don't know the real behind the scenes dynamic, but but seems a but dramatic right?

And WWE begrudgingly made the right decision in giving Enzo the belt. Sure he can't wrestle, but he can cut a promo, he's really over right now, even as a heel, and he's going to bring attention to the division, and hopefully more eyes. More than Neville has or ever will in that role.

Also, rumor is Nia Jax quit too. Now she has a reason to be pissed at management. She should have won the belt at Summerslam in that garbage fatal 5 way match. She's being buried under Alexa Bliss. Which is a shame because she has worked really hard since her NXT Days. Granted so has Bliss, but if you're not going to give her a run during al big 4 pay per view then when will they? Plus Bliss has the charisma of a wet diaper.

I use to love Gran Turismo. Use to because I'm not sure what Sony and Polyphony Digital are doing.

First, it shouldn't take 5 years to make a copy and paste HD version of your last game. Especially since Gran Turismo Sport isn't even the finished game of Gran Turismo 7.

Secondly, why in the hell is a racing simulation game online only? By that I mean why do you need persistent online for a console ralcing game. A console racing game that you can't even save your progress unless the server is up? This isn't a pc game that does this to prevent cheating and theft. This is a racing game about tuning up cats to perfection, and turning piles of junk into gold. Also, it's about realistic driving. It just doesn't make any sense.

Between this and Burnout being gone. Criterion I miss you making Burnout games instead of Need for Speed yearly Crap. I guess racing games are over for me.

EA just put a bullet in Visceral Games. Then EA took a big ole dump and a leak on the still smoldering remains.

I wish I could say I was shocked and disappointed, but I'm not in either regard. EA has crushed and destroyed so many small wonderful studios that it's just part of their morning routine.

(Wake up, brush teeth, shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, destroy hopes and dreams, take morning constitutional, flush hopes and dreams down the toilet.)

Unless you're making a Star Wars Battlefront multiplayer game with loot boxes and micro transactions to rob stupid players blind, then the hope of a solid single player story based Star Wars game is probably never going to happen again. There will probably never be a KOTOR 3, or any Star Wars RPG. Those things make me a sad panda.

I just don't want all games to be PUBG. There is nothing wrong with that game, except the obvious, but if thats what you like then that's fine. However, variety is the spice of life, and I firmly believe that not every game needs garbage DLC, Loot Boxes, Micro transactions, stickers, emblems, pixie dust, and other worthless **** that adds no inherent value to the game.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but these current trends can go kick rocks.

They bought back Kane. Is anyone afraid of Kane, with or without the welders mask? Kane hasn't been relevant since the end of the Attitude era. Which begs the question why? Before anyone mentions his run with Daniel Bryan, I argue that the run was more about Daniel Bryan's skyrocketing fame and not about Kane. It just seems like a dumb move when you could have done something different.

Enzo getting a gang is just an attempt to make you forget that he's an unlikable piece of Jersey shore trash. He can't wrestle, but he is good on the mic. Giving him support just softens his heel turn, and it seems as a ploy to keep his merch sales up as he still gets pops when he does his little intro. They want to keep him likeable because there are no true stars in 205 Live. He's their entire division. I'm not sure why HHH thought that the wrestling alone could sell the cruiser weight division. This is where I sadly have to side with Vince in that a lot of showmanship can mask a lot of problems with a limited athlete or worker.

Finally, The Shield. I guess this goes back to the first paragraph, but I'm digging what they are doing with them, and it makes Roman paleteable. It's having the opposite effect that WWE is doing with Enzo. It also does the job of making Braun still look strong. I just don't know how long they will keep The Shield together.

The best long-term play is to have Roman betray The Shield and do his heel turn. However, they won't do that. Not a chance in Hades.

The best thing to do with Owens,and Zayn is to keep having Zayn be Owens' "Guardian Angel."

Have him interfere with his matches, not all of the time to wear the gimmick out, but enough to make it a thought in your head. So you can go, "It may or may not happen tonight during this match."

Give Owens the WWE belt after the India tour, as they want to keep the belt on Jinder for the publicity, even though he's Canadian not Indian, then set up your fued with KO as he doesn't save him against a challenger.

As his argument could be, Kevin, I can't and haven't saved you all the time during this whole run."

There is your build up and fued. Yet, WWE is going to ruin this, and put them in a garbage tag team or ruin this angle by over using it.

I like The Shield too, but i feel like they are blowing big Wreatlemania stoeylines well before Mania in April.

I need them to save big angles for Mania because it's in New Orleans this year, and the wife and I plan on going. So it would be nice not to have a lackluster Mania lineup if I'm paying 2 to 3 hundred dollars for special handicap tickets.

Still it has made the post Summerslam slump a lot easier to take. Plus heel Sami Zayn is better than. Punching bag face Sami Zayn.

And Enzo getting punched is better than him not getting punched.

I try not to rank seasons of Rick and Morty. I just enjoy the episodes, and as with any show some episodes are better than others.

When looking at the seasons I don't tend to think about ranking them because in the long run I don't think we are going to get many seasons of the show. Maybe 2 or 3 more before it's all over, or we get 2 or 3 years before seasons so I want to enjoy what little we do have, and not waste my time arguing with hipsters about nothing.

Besides I don't want to be one of these jerk fans that go all elitist and say, "Rick and Morty was better when it was a small cartoon network show before it became mainstream." I hate those people.

Zeus, you have every right to your opinion, but you're more excited about the unearned DC Murderverse Justice League movie than Star Wars?

Spoilers.... (I don't like the spoiler geo tag thing.)

Is it when Supermn inspired hope when he snapped Zod's neck instead of finding a better way to subdue him? Or when he inspired hope by leaving a giant Kryptonian spaceship in the middle of Metropolis instead of dismantling it and tossing it i to the sun so no one could use it for evil in the future.

Maybe it was when the world's greatest detective failed to detect a plot from an idiot Lex Luthor for him to trick him into killing Superman, or when he failed to realize that Superman wasn't a bad guy at all based on some detective work or even looking at television for an hour or two.

At least Wonder Woman is awesome. But does she have another move other than that slow motion leg sweep?

Then there is Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash who have no character development prior to the movie because DC rushed everything in order to make this turd float in the punch before Avengers 3 next Summer.

Which of these blunders sound better than The Last Jedi?

It looks meh. Mainly because it looks like a damn video game built inside a computer, and acted entirely on a green screen. That and the humor in the trailer feels so forced. It's like DC took the criticism frolm the dour notes off the previous shared universe movies and went, "See, we can make our movies light and fun like Marvel too."

Either way Warner Brothers dropped this trailer today because The full last Jedi trailer is dripping tomorrow during Monday Night Football.

Hopefully It's better than this mess, and I'm sure it will be too.

Hurricane Nate is going to hit us directly along the Mississippi gulf coast. The worse news is that the bloody thing got much stronger than expected quicker than predicted. We expected a baby hurricane, and now it's a teenage hurricane going through puberty with anger issues and destructive tendencies.

My street floods in normal rain, and now we are going to get something like 9 feet of rain, 110mph winds, and 12 feet storm surge.

I'm trying to convince my wife to let us head for th e hills as it's going to be much worse than expected.

If we do stay then I'm going to miss you guys as it's going to be weeks before I'm able to get power and internet again. ...

No less than 24 hours after landing in Gulfport, Mississippi the hurricane, which was drifting West and going to hit New Orleans, is now going to directly hit my hometown.

After tomorrow evening I'm not going to be able to post because I'm going to lose power, and the horrible nature of a hurricane is really going to set in some time Saturday night to Sunday morning.

I hate hurricanes and I hate Jim Cantore.

Cuphead looks interesting, but I don't think it's a game that I will play. Because it's on the Xbone and the pc, and I loathe pc gaming. The other reason is that it's difficult for the sake of being difficult. However, I do like the art style. It looks like a Steam Boat Willy cartoon bought to life, and that's pretty cool.

We are about to be under a hurricane warning here on the gulf coast of Mississippi. The forecast is shifting it West to destroy New Orleans, but we are going to get a lot of rain, flooding, and tornados. I should be okay, but Crap happens so we shall see.

Enzo got his ass kicked on Raw last week, and it brought a tear to my eye In a good way because it was just so damn beautiful. Neville and the rest of the 205 Love locker room came our there and whooped his tail. Neville even story line wise giving up a shot at the belt to get the best down, It was great.

Sometimes you just need to see a wrestler get his ass whooped and his pride destroyed.

Then this week he comes out on Raw all sad and disappointed. This too made me feel like an eight year old on Christmas morning.

In non wrestling news why does the entire cooking world love white meat chicken? Dark meat just taste better as it has all the fat and fat is flavor. Plus the dark meat chicken isn't as dry. I just don't understand the love.

No Facebook, Twitter, etc and I met him in elementary school and we have been friends ever since. He gets his name because he says if he ever got super powers he would rob a bank, for example:

Scarlett and I finally watched the terrible female led Ghostbusters reboot/sequel/alternative universe movie.

I don't want to come off sexist in this situation, because that has nothing to do with my opinion of the movie, but man was the movie just hot garbage.

Spoilers..... For a terrible movie.

All the men in the movie are either jerks, idiots, or the bad guy. That's not a spoiler, but clearly it was done on purpose to spite all the male internet trolls that said it wasn't going to work because it was all females instead of men.

That aside, the main bad guy built a ghost magnet machine, for reasons I'm still not sure about, based on a book that the main characters wrote. Granted this man has no physics degree, blueprints, or scientific background in general. He just builds the machine for no reason, with no technical experience, unknown and undetected in the basement of a giant fully staffed hotel over the course of a few years.In fact this guy works as a janitor in said hotel; He's not a damn criminal mastermind. Then he kills himself and becomes a ghost. How in the hell does he know he would become a ghost if he killed himself with the machine?

All that can't be ignored, but the biggest problem is that two of the four female Ghostbusters seem like they were in a different and sadly worse movie. Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones were great and having fun and fit in the wacky tone of the movie. However, Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wigg seemed to hate each other in real life, and were acting separately and not off each other. There was just no chemistry between them, and that just dragged the movie down.

Overall it was a train wreck, hell even a dumpster fire. My wife and I felt worse after watching this. If you haven't seen it do yourself a favor and don't.

Bank Robber, who is a much bigger Star Trek fan than I ever will be, agreed with me that The Orville is a better Star Trek show than Star Trek Discovery. My lovely wife agrees with him as well. (She too is a huge Star Trek fan versus my love for Star Wars.)

The last two episodes of The Orville have covered whether a child is born a gender or grows into a gender, and whether the child would be better off being a boy versus a girl in a male dominated society. Much like the one we exist in today.

The second episode asked whether ignorance is bliss, and if a backwards society should be forced into progressiveness or fail to evole and possibly become extinct.

The first three episodes of Star Trek Discovery have covered a human raised by Vulcans doing stupid and illogical things over and over again. Bit the specialeffects are gorgeous.

I'm not saying that Seth MacFarlane is the greatest writer of all time, but he's created a Star Trek show that pays homage to Trek more than an official Star Trek show. It's kind of amazing.

I didn't even know he was 40. I knew he was getting up there in age, but the big 4 ..0... wow.

Anyway, he is clearly getting blown up in very short matches. Someone of his stature shouldn't get tired after 8 minutes of light work. He's getting all beet red, blue, purple and winded in no time at all. He's a few colors away from being a bowl of fruit loops during these matches.

I do not like Leaner anyway so maybe it's time to put him out to pasture. He's a waste of space, a crappy wrestler, and a boribg attraction. I think we all agree that it's time to move on.

I was able to score a SNES Classic Edition this morning. I waited in line two hours, but I was able to get a couple. I heard that there were still a lot of them in the wild so maybe Nintendo produced more than 2 million in Total this time.

Just a Public Service announcement: Inhumans comes on television tonight. It's going to be two hours of dog ****. However, if you don't have anything better to do, or you didn't score a SNES mini you could watch this and rethink your life decisions.

Or it's Friday night and you can literally do anything else. Anything would be better than watching this mess. So excuse me as I fire up Super Metroid and Final Fantasy VI like I did Friday night's in middle school.

Enzo has gone from quickly entertaining to a loud mouth piece of trash. I think he needs Big Cass to make him palatable. Plus Big Cass was good on the mic and decent in the ring too. Big Cass didn't need Enzo, but Enzo needed big Cass.

With Enzo turning heel on Raw Monday it seemed more of a locker room decision than a logical creative one. He's sadly over as a face and sells merchandise, and flipping him to a heel means losing some of the merch sales. However, it's going to make the locker room happy, and a happy work environment might be better than a few more t-shirt sales.

We all know by now that Enzo is an ass, and is hated in the locker room, and has been kicked off the tour bus. Moving down to 205 Live was a good move creatively and social wise because it got rid of him in the main locker room, and got him to a division that needs a mouth piece.

With a court ruling today in the Osaka District Court tattooing is now pretty much illegal in Japan. That is unless you have a medical license, and theu dpnt osdue tattoo licences. You have to be a doctor to be a tattooist. The Japanese claim that it's a medical procedure because needles pierce the skin and inject ink. This procedure can cause disease and side effects and they believe that only a licensed physician should perform the procedure.

The other reason for the banning is a cultural one in that tattoos bring dishonor to your parents, family, and yourself because it alters the purity of what your ancestors and parents have bestowed upon you. Plus after World War II the Yakuza used it as a symbol of their members, so there is that.

I don't have or even like tattoos. However tattoos are art and an expression of one's self. Still, seeing some truly terrible tattoos in America maybe only licensed and experienced artist should do the work. Not some random guy on the corner or some punk in jailwith some seeing needles.

Sony has said that they are not currently making or planning to make a successor to the PlayStation Vita, or any kind of hybrid console/handheld.

I think that's a smart business decision. Andrew House of Sony said that with the rise of cell phones as every day portable devices that a handheld outside of Asia really isn't needed.

Once again, I agree. Just focus on great games, and making a solid PS5 one day, and try not to compete with Nintendo in a market you're not fully invested in anyway.

We finally watched Star Trek Discovery, and it is very expensive. (To quote Mr. Dink from Doug.) Thats not a bad thing at all, but it brings up or distracts from a huge problem.

Lack of character development.

Aside from Michelle Yeoh's character and Sonequa Green-Martin's character no one else had any character development at all. I know it's the first episode, but what makes Star Trek so great is the variety of the supporting cast. There is no Worf, Jorde, or Data in this group, and the show suffers from that. It looks gorgeous, it's well acted, and the plot is serviceable, but the characters are lacking, and because of that I'm not paying 6 dollars a month to continue to watch.

The Orville on the other hand isn't as bad as the promos look. I'm shocked to be typing that too. The third episode in particular was deep and nuanced, even though it has those Seth MacFarlane tropes.

We were all right about ole Brock Lesnar keeping the belt. Braun Strowman should be the champ, but WWE has decided to run this whole Lesnar "World Beater" angle into the ground.

I'm just not a Lesnar fan. He's a big muscle bound jock that can't really wrestle any longer or cut a promo. He's a glorified MMA fighter that is coasting on his name.

My test of a good wrestler is if you can name at least 3 matches that the performer had that were just great or you can remember off the top of your head. And yes, I put Roman Reigns on that list too. His Royal Rumble performance 5 years ago is the only match I watched of his that I truly enjoyed.

I guess we have to talk about Cena now. He's off to shoot that terrible Bumblebee prequel movie so of course he was going to lose to Roman last night. Still the elephant in the room is that damn bald spot he has going on. Who told him that was a good look?

Come to the bald side Cena. I have been. There for 5 years now. It's great! You spend like 10 seconds in the shower washing your hair. Your comb bidget is zero. All hats fit. Well, most fit unless you have a Professor X dome. Just join the club brother.

Oh.. yeah the match was ass. The bald spot was more entertaining.

Inhumans was and is a damn train wreck ayway. Having it pre-cancelled is not a surprise or a bad thing at all.

I am also not going to pay five dollars a month to watch a mediocre Star Trek show.

Star Trek: Discovery airs it's only free episode tonight. A very strict embargo from CBS and Paramount are keeping the early reviews under wraps. That's never a good sign. We will follow up with this later.

Fighting games aren't roo big in these geek parts, but is anyone interested in Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite?

Capcom claims that they made an easier game for new comers, but after watching a few hours on stream over the last few days it doesn't look any more simplistic than the other versus games in the series.

Haven't actually played the game myself I can only form an opinion from what I have seen and heard so far.

Have any of you played the game and have an opinion?

I'm patiently waiting for Nintendo to release the final version of The Switch. Not this beta tested sucker version everyone is buying right now.

You know, the version with the larger high definition screen, the version with a wired Ethernet cable, the version where you can charge the system while in the docking port, the one that doesn't scratch the screen while in said non charging docking port, the one with the improved ram and processor to play most 3rd party games without limitations. You know that version of The Switch.

That's the version of The Switch I'm waiting for, and I'm willing to wait the 2 to 3 years for that version to exist. Because I have a feeling this is going to be a 3DS situoan with about a million noni system refreshes.

I mentioned a few days back about seeing a Nintendo Switch in the wild at Wally World. Two of them actually.

It's just funny how life works out sometimes because these articles answer my question about the availability of the console. Apparently Gamestop has a ton of them, but not at retail price. Those bastards are forcing people to buy 2 additional items in order for you to take the console home.

First off Gamestop can go straight to hell. I understand that they want to put the shaft to people in order to make a profit, I mean they are a business after all, but this mess is just wrong. Secondly if you don't have other buying options just follow this Reddit thread.

We had a huge big discussion on piracy and the effects on an industry and the individual in the last topic. Nevertheless, the debate still rages on because of articles like this...

I suppose that the suppressing of the information is the real problem here, and not necessarily the fact that a study was done on piracy that says that it effects no one.

Since we don't know how much money would have been lost if piracy wasn't committed at all we don't really know the larger impact. The simple truth is that stealing is wrong, and if it was your intellectual property you wouldn't want people to steal it and you get less or none of the profits.

I understand that people don't consider it stealing because it's not tangible, but it is and I wish it would stop, or at least admit that it's wrong and you're doing it to get something for nothing.

I'm not sure we have ever talked the movie Unbreakable.

I know M. Night Shyamalan gets a bad rap for his "Twist" but I do love Unbreakable.



He's finally making a true sequel to Unbreakable, and I'm pretty excited. Even though he should have called the movie "Breakable" then "Broke" but I'm not in charge of marketing yet... Not Yet....

How dobyou all feel about the greatness that is Unbreakable?
